Le Spice Restaurant and Bakery

Undoubtedly one of Spartanburg’s most unique restaurant concepts, Le Spice has been fusing French and Thai cuisines on Spartanburg’s westside since 2016. It's hard to deny the quick success of this restaurant and bakery, and after only two years of operation Le Spice decided to open up a second location in downtown Spartanburg. Wanting to season the new location’s interior with a flavor similar to its cuisine, Le Spice commissioned Bannan Blasko to create an interpretation of the establishment’s preexisting logo that utilized an array of floral and vegetal elements. A script similar to that used within the pre-existing logo was selected and surrounded with custom imagery. The finished graphic depicts various ingredients found within Le Spice’s kitchen, and alludes to the two distinct cultures it brings together with its cuisine by incorporating native flora from each region.
